It's time to give away a 2.25" Button Maker, 250 pinback buttons and 1 full year of Build-a-Button software! Thanks to your incredible generosity, the Buttons for Change program is celebrating the holidays by giving to those who help some of the most helpless and innocent - animal rescue organizations.
We received more than 2,000 votes and thank everyone who took the time to nominate or support these organizations. Although they are all worthy, only one can be crowned our winner - this time!
Compassion Without Borders is operated by proud and tireless co-founders Juan "Moncho" Camblor and Christi Camblor, DVM and they are dedicated to making the lives of street animals in depressed areas of Mexico and the California Central Valley more promising.
Their mission statement is simple, "We focus our efforts where the need is the greatest, ... where animals are the very least likely to be helped due to financial, geographic, and cultural barriers." When telling ABM why they felt a button maker was important to their organization they told us, "So why a button maker for CWOB? Well, because our co-founder is a graphic artist, and a good one too! We deal with people who are living under difficult circumstances. We try to make it as easy for them as it can be, and if it can be pretty then even better. We also deal with lots of kids, and if we can help them understand how important it is to care for the animals they encounter, whether they live in the street or in their homes, then we have a new generation of compassionate adults, and hopefully no homeless pets."
We at ABM believe strongly in showing love and compassion for those precious furry, feathered and finned friends who can't help themselves and are grateful for those who spend their time thanklessly searching alleys, garbage dumps and ditches to save a life. We are honored to be able to provide this token of appreciation on behalf of the entire ABM family in the hopes that it will help provide a little extra funding to help you save as many as possible. From all of Team ABM, thank you from the bottom of our hearts and, as always, happy button making!
