What We’re Working On: Digital Collage Sheets for 1”, 1.25”, 1.5” and 2.25” Buttons
We’re excited to tell you about our latest project and we think you’ll be just as excited as we are. Are you "artistically challenged" at times? Have you ever wanted to use someone else’s spectacular artwork to make a button? Sometimes you can accomplish this task easily. Other times, though, you have trouble with designs and sizing. Well, we’re excited to tell you we have found the solution! We are in the midst of creating an awesome new product – digital collage sheets specially designed for button makers! AKA downloadable collage sheets. For those unfamiliar with the concept, this cool product provides you with an assortment of professionally designed art perfectly sized for our four most popular button sizes – 1”, 1.25” 1.5” & 2.25”. Excited yet? Yeah, us too!
How It WorksBehind the scenes at American Button Machines, we’ve been teaming up with talented artists across the country to bring you a variety of creative button designs. Each digital collage sheet has its own theme. For example, we have several graphic sheets focused on sports like football, baseball, soccer, volleyball and basketball along with, awareness ribbons, cute animals and teacher recognition awards. By the time we’re done, there will be something for everyone. Once we’ve created the greatest collection of digital collage sheets, follow these simple steps turn our artists’ fabulous creations into buttons.
- At our digital collage sheet store, what we call the ABM Design Marketplace, you’ll choose the designs you want and the size of your buttons.
- After paying for the art, you’ll download it and print it on a color printer.
- Using the reliable adjustable rotary circle cutter, precise punch cutter or the lightweight Dynamo handheld punch cutter, cut out the circular artwork.
- Make a button like you normal would using our easy-to-use machines. Complete instructions and demonstrations here.
Attention All ArtistsIf you or someone you know is interested in selling your work through the ABM Design Marketplace, we have a few open spots left.
