I have ordered a few ABM machines and supplies for our students at UMKC. Everyone loves making buttons, and I enjoy the look on everyone’s face when they use the supplies! We have the 2 1/4 machine and punch, and both make the process so easy. We have some students who make 200 buttons, and it takes less than an hour! Such a great product and worth any price you pay.
We have used ABM products for all of our fundraisers and STEM outreach events! The machines are fun and easy to use. We let kids design and make their own buttons at our events. After seeing what other robotics teams were using for their buttons, we were able to point them in the direction of ABM so they could get a quality machine. They were able to see ours first hand and try it out. After using it at the event, they were sold on ABM machines. We are trying to add other sizes to our fundraising tables to give more variety. I bought a 1.5 inch machine in the fall of 2014, and I have been ADDICTED ever since. My first weekend, my daughter and I made over 200 magnets. Every time I hit a flea market or garage sale, I am looking for something that could be pressed in my sincerely GLORIOUS machine! I’ll have to check numbers to be sure, but I have done over 1,500 magnets, by my count, and that girl still presses through the materials like buttaaaaaaahhhhhh! I researched and waited and price shopped and emailed button maker afficianados all over the country. This machine was the gold star by far with everyone I had the pleasure of meeting. A bigger button maker will allow me to fit more vintage goodness in every magnet I do. I would LOVE to blessed by it, and would love to pay it forward by making bigger buttons for the activities at the high school where I teach.
