2.625" Round Magnet for 3" Round Magnet Buttons
These 2-5/8" round adhesive magnets turn 3" buttons into refrigerator magnets. They are sized for 3" round buttons made with a flat recessed metal back — peel the backing, press the magnet into the recessed back of the finished button, and it is ready to hang.
At 3", there is room for photos and text, and buying the magnets on their own lets you restock just the part you use up. Magnets come in packs of 100, 500, and 1,000. Need everything in one box instead? The complete 3" Self-Adhesive Magnet Set includes the shell, mylar, flat metal back, and this same 2-5/8" magnet.

Which Magnet Do I Need?
Match the magnet to the button size and back style. ABM sells four loose adhesive magnets, and the right one depends on the button you pressed:
- 3/4" magnet: 1" collet-back buttons and 1.25" un-pinned buttons.
- 1" magnet: 1.25" collet-back buttons and 1.5" and 1.75" un-pinned buttons.
- 1-7/8" magnet: 2.25" buttons with flat recessed backs with dimple.
- 2-5/8" magnet (this product): 3" buttons with flat recessed backs.

Ways to Use 2-5/8" Magnets
The 3" magnet is big enough for a photo or a full message, which makes it the round size people keep on the refrigerator and actually look at. Popular uses include:
- Restocking magnet production. Replace just the magnets when you run through them faster than the other parts.
- Photo keepsakes. School portraits, team photos, pet photos, and grandparent gifts.
- Business and schedule magnets. Logos and phone numbers, team game days, and school calendars that stay in daily view.
- Classroom and library projects. Student artwork and reading-program rewards families can hang at home.
- Party favors and save-the-dates. Magnets for weddings, showers, and events guests take home.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which buttons do these 2-5/8" magnets fit?
They are sized for 3" round buttons made with a flat recessed metal back — the same 2-5/8" magnet included in ABM's 3" Self-Adhesive Magnet Set. For 2.25" recessed-back buttons, use the 1-7/8" magnet instead.
What comes in a pack?
Magnets only — 100, 500, or 1,000 round 2-5/8" adhesive magnets, depending on the pack you choose. Shells, mylar, and backs are sold separately. If you would rather have everything in one package, order the complete 3" Self-Adhesive Magnet Set.
How do I attach the magnet?
Press your 3" button as usual with a flat recessed back. Peel the paper backing off the magnet and press it firmly into the recessed area on the back of the finished button. No glue is needed.
Can I turn a 3" pinback button into a magnet?
These adhesive magnets are made for recessed flat backs, not pinned backs. For finished 3" pinned back buttons, use our Ceramic Magnets, which work with pinned buttons.
