A cutting wheel, a plastic centering templates and a cutting plate are included, so it is ready to use out of the box. Who Uses the Adjustable Circle Cutter
Schools, Libraries & Makerspaces
Programs that own more than one button maker use a single circle cutter instead of buying a separate graphic punch for each size. It stays in the makerspace or art room cabinet and handles 1" name badges, 2.25" summer reading buttons and 3" spirit buttons with the same tool.
Sewists, Quilters & Crafters
Because it cuts fabric, cardstock and thin leather as well as paper, the Adjustable Circle Cutter is a regular tool for fabric-covered buttons, scrapbook circles, quilt appliqué and craft-fair projects where exact, repeatable circles matter.
Campaigns, Events & Businesses
Campaign offices, event planners and small businesses cutting promotional button graphics in several sizes get consistent results from the first button to the last, without resetting a different tool for each size.
Churches, Nonprofits & Community Programs
Vacation Bible School, volunteer appreciation, donor recognition and rec-league banquets often call for more than one button size. One cutter covers all of them and keeps a shared supply closet simple.
How It Works
The cutter turns its cutting wheel around a fixed center point, so every circle comes out the same size and round from run to run.
- Set the size. Move the shaft to the preset stop for your button size, or use the adjustable setting for any size between 1.313" and 4".
- Place your graphic. Lay the printed sheet on the cutting plate and center the design using the plastic centering template.
- Cut. Rotate the cutter through a full turn so the cutting wheel traces the complete circle.
- Remove the graphic. Lift the cutter and your round graphic is ready for the button maker.

Pro Tips for the Adjustable Circle Cutter
- Cut several at once. Depending on material thickness, you can stack sheets and cut more than one graphic at a time. Test with a couple of layers first to find what your material allows.
- Skip the template at 3.5". The plastic centering template is not needed when cutting 3.5" graphics.
- Keep the wheel fresh. A dull wheel leaves ragged edges. Replacement cutting wheels are available, and our guide shows how to change the cutting wheel.
