Buttons Save Halloween in a Covid World

We are officially headed into fall and with that comes one festive celebration after the next but 2020 will be a year like no other when it comes to the holidays.  Fun is always the objective but safety has to come first in a Covid world.

Split Ring Key Chain

Halloween is the first challenge the season brings and quite possibly, the hardest to find fun, creative and safe solutions for.  Trick or Treating is a right of passage that both parents and kids look forward to.  Dressing your little ghouls and goblins in that super cute costume for the first time is one of the moments cameras were made for.

Even those who don't have trick or treat age children of Halloween Magnettheir own love to see those happy faces all dressed up and hear the giggle when they get a treat.  So that brings the question, how do you enjoy the experience safely in 2020?  According to the CDC, you can trick or treat safely if you follow their guidelines and their recommendations happen to work perfectly with buttons*!

Zipper Pull

The easiest solution to limit contact and provide a fun treasure that is non-food related is to set up a small table on your porch with a bottle of "goblin goo" (aka hand sanitizer) and a bowl of spooky buttons.  Then, fill the bowl with magnets, zipper pulls, ponytail holders, bobby pins, key chains and button rings.  Need a little creative assistance for designs?  Our all new Ready to Print collection saves the day with something for everyone!  To make it easy to have a variety on hand, ABM offers Deluxe Sample Packs full of an assortment of products sure to please even the most discerning trick or treater!

An easy bonus opportunity for you is to use Build-a-Button 6.0 to add a tagline on the edge of your button with your contact info turning each of these amazing little treats into an amazing little advertisement.  They get a smile and you get exposure for your business, treats for everybody!

Do you have a hauntingly great idea for buttons and Halloween?  We'd love to see it!  Join us in The Pinback Button Making Community and share it with the group!  Do you need a little inspiration?  You can find it there with over 2,300 button lovers just like you.  We hope to see you there but until then, happy button making!
